Benjamin Godard short biography

A distinguished French pianist, violist and composer, Benjamin Godard studied with Vieuxtemps. Godard received a great recognition, chiefly as a composer of salon music. Those compositions enjoyed enormous popularity and were included in many music albums. Godard also wrote more serious music, however, these compositions were completely ignored.
