Charles Koechlin short biography

A great French composer, Charles Koechlin was a student of Gabriel Faure. Highly respected as an educator, Koechlin had an enormous influence on the younger generation of the French composers including Mlhaud and Koechlin’s own students Poulenc and Tailleferre. Koechlin was also an outstanding musical theorist.
